Airport Transportation
The following thread and its wiki provide all the information one needs to know about taking a taxi from Suvarnabhumi Airport: Catching a Taxi at BKK and general Thailand taxi discussion [SEE WIKI FIRST] The wiki discusses the breakdown of taxi fares from the airport to central Bangkok where Grand Hyatt Erawan is located, and addresses the possibility of being slightly overcharged by a taxi driver.
Alternatively, Grand Hyatt Erawan offers airport transfers in its own fleet of silver Mercedes-Benz S-Class and E-class sedans. The prices of these service are S-Class THB 3,300 (net) per one way transfer (per post 1976) and E-Class THB 2,500 (per post 1975) to or from Suvarnabhumi Airport. Guests using this service will be greeted by a representative at the airport, assisted with their luggage, and escorted to the waiting car.
For an additional charge, the hotel can also arrange "Fast Track" (VIP lane) immigration clearance, as well as the option of being met at one's arrival gate by a buggy and escorted through Fast Track immigration. This service is available for THB 1,600+ 7% vat per person, or THB 2,400+ 7% vat per person to include Golf Cart and porter services.
AOT (and perhaps other companies) also provide transfers from and to the airport. Various vehicle types are available at different price points: Camry (THB 1,200 one way), Mercedes E-Class (THB 2,400 one way).
I always use http://www.limousine.in.th for my car needs in BKK incl airport transfers. 1050 THB from BKK to the city, 900 THB city to BKK (incl tolls).
UBER no longer operates in Thailand. Instead, use GRAB. Similar to UBER, prices will vary. On my trip, I was able to get a GRAB for 364 THB from BKK.
Taxi should run between 400-500 THB. If going from the hotel to BKK, the hotel will quote 500 THB. I had to wait for a few taxi's as the first two didn't want to do unless I paid 750 THB.

The GH's website states that they'll only sell you fast track if you are arriving in F/J, but the fast track itself would be moot since you'd get access anyways on the basis of your BP--I think the product they're selling there is golf cart service and meet-and-greet at your arrival gate.
I did see one or two independent companies offer fast track for sale online, seemingly without any class of service restriction.

Finished a stay this past week and it was good as usual. Two pieces of laundry per day, with the ability to cumulate, seems to be a new benefit.
One thing I found strange was that booking through Concur I ended up with a fully prepaid rate. It makes consolidating expenses a bit odd as I end up with multiple invoices.
So I was booking some stays for the coming months and the majority of them are fully prepaid. Is this something odd happeing at this hotel or is Hyatt rolling out something odd?

This would be new as of the past few weeks (I did not get it in early January). Do you know if it was for everyone or just for club guests and/or elites?

Does anyone know why the floors listed for the different suite types are so specific? For example, the Grand Suite King lists 11, and then what I assume to be 19+ as the top floors. Why 11?

I might try that with the pancakes tomorrow as the ones under the lamp were a bit too crispy. The omelet with fresh cut ham from the large pig was great.

Here are my impressions of the Grand Hyatt after my two-night stay - overall, I really liked the property:
Overall, I wouldn’t have an issue returning here - it’s cheaper than the HR!
Photos:
- Used a SUA to get into a Grand Suite King - no further upgrade offered, and I ended up in the 11th floor suite facing the road and BTS
- Despite being on the BTS side, I had no issues with external noise
- Love the Tony Chi design - feels very much like a Hyatt ;-)
- Great views from the angled windows
- Bed was comfortable - medium firm mattress, plush pillows, decently plush covers for Bangkok climate - really enjoyed this bed
- Shower pressure isn’t hard - but the water flow is significant in amount - you can turn on the wand and rainfall at the same time
- Nice bathroom tiling
- The living room couch was quite comfy
- Welcome gift had a cute hand-drawn card, some dried snacks, and some fruit
- Housekeeper was friendly and thorough during turndown and midday service
- Lounge is fine - no real afternoon tea food choices, but milk tea was good - evening service dessert choices were pretty good
- Allowed to have restaurant breakfast - very good omelets, decent pancakes and waffles, very good smoothies, good hashbrowns, croissants looked better than they tasted but pain au chocolats were good
- No issue with 4 PM late checkout
