points question

I am new to Hyatt and have a stay booked by corporate travelocity. Is it correct that I will not earn any points for this stay and so should not bother calling to associate my Hyatt number with my reservation?

Unless the rate is from an opaque site, such as priceline, you should earn points with a corporate rate. Essentially, any publicly available rate is eligible for points.

I would call and add my GP#.
