The $25 hotel credit was a special Costco promo rate for a limited time. There is nothing like that running right now.

AAA rate will often get you that. One free breakfast will pay for your AAA fee

Generally, which properties offer better rate for Costco over AAA members?

From what I've seen, Costco and AAA are usually the same when it comes to the general discount. I believe both rates are 10% off.

However, Costco runs additional promotional rates and/or offers from time to time. With AAA, you'll often see a "AAA Discount" rate and a "AAA Breakfast" rate. From my experience, the breakfast rate can be the same as the discount rate or a few dollars more.

AAA breakfast rate is typically the way to go, especially when 2 adults are staying. Most breakfast buffets are $20 to $40 a piece at Hyatt Hotels, so you save a bunch going this route.

As a diamond member, I am more interested in the discount of rate, so might try costco rate later.

All brands, anyway. Only, the Summerfield Suites don't have the $25 credit. (Not sure what it could do at SS, anyway, unless one charges for parking.)

Mevad, are there Costcos outside the US? Sorry for my plain ignorance.

I've tried to get to one of the Tokyo-area stores but have run out of time each trip.

Well, not all brands, I sure don't see Park Hyatts on that page!

I personally have been to Costco in 3 other countries -- Japan, Mexico, and the UK. They will honor your US membership card.

Is it possible in any way to use AAA and costco discounts together in the same reservation?
