Gx bonuses stackable?

I have encountered one of those gold passport csr that adamantly insisted that I cannot receive G3 bonus when the hotel is running a special hotel specific bonus points. I have never had issue with this Not being stackable before. Is this a new policy or is the rep just ignorant ?

I've gotten two before but I'm not sure if this was an error in my favor.

I've gotten them stacked on several occasions.

peteropny: I was curious the other day, since the T&C's seem to now say only one offer. I asked a diamond line agent and she said that only one Gx could be used for each stay. Is that wrong information?

Try the classic FlyerTalk trick- hang up and call back until you get an agent who gives you the right answer!

I would have the first agent post one bonus, and then call back and ask another agent to add the second bonus to the stay. Don`t even mention anything about stacking the two bonuses to either agent.

AFAIK the bonus offers are stackable.

No, that is correct information.

You should be able to combine a Gx bonus with a non-Gx bonus (I believe that's the subject of this thread), but either way all of these bonuses are once per stay.

I agree with this - however, in my reading of the question - you can't stack two bonuses that give bonus points that are rate dependent on top of each other for a stay.

oops ...

what I meant to say (and I corrected my previous post also) was ...

Gx can be combined with a non-Gx bonus and they are all once per stay.

Is there anyone from the Hyatt Concierge who can confirm this? The problem is that the rep won't add the G3 bonus for me because she said that I already got the Hotel Specific Bonus for that stay. In the past I haven't had a problem. So wondering what the T&Cs says.

For example PH Tokyo is now running G1 (it seems to always have a Gx bonus), as well as a 2,000 point bonus for stays during the week, GP647.

It is my understanding that if one stays at the hotel on a weekday, the 2,000 point bonus will apply in addition to the G1.

The OP`s problem can probably be fixed by calling again and speaking with another agent.
