Combining AAA Rate and Gx Code Bonus

Hi all, new to Hyatt GP - came from SPG after hearing the constant buzz about the BWB promo. I'm trying to book stays at Hyatt properties, but it won't let me combine the AAA rate (which is sometimes significantly less than the Best Available Rate) and the Gx offer code bonus for bonus points. I can do just the AAA rate, but then I won't receive the Gx bonus points. Or I can include the Gx code, but not receive the AAA rate (the Gx code rate seems to be consistent with the Best Available Rate).

Would it be possible to book using the AAA rate, then ask the front desk to apply the relevant Gx code at check-in? Thanks to all in advance

You will get the Gx bonus on AAA rates. However, you may need to call Customer Service after your stay posts and have them post it to your account. I have had issues in the past with Gx bonuses not posting but a call to CS always resolves this.

You should also consider the instant Platinum status promo going on. This would give you platinum status for your stays which includes free internet, 15% bonus points,...

Alternatively, you could put in 5 stays, and then use the promo to become Diamond. This would give you all Diamond perks for you FFN stays.
