Planner Rewards program

I’m planning a small 50th birthday party at Hyatt. I do know they offer 1 Hyatt bonus point per $ spent under Planner Rewards program. Do I qualify to earn those points since it’s a personal non-meeting related event. Any other ways to maximize my points earning for this party. Btw, we don’t need any rooms because we’re local.

Thanks in advance.

I believe the planner program is offered to you once you book a meeting or event, regardless of whether you have rooms or not. To be honest, I found properties in Australia to be immensely lacking on information on the program.
