24 Hour Sale - 11/18/09 - Hyatt Resorts

As posted on Twitter by Hyatt (and some resort properties) - a 40% off 24 Hour sale is being held on Wed 11/18 at their resort properties (assuming this is 40% off the "rack" Hyatt Daily Rates). I have no further details.

Well, it must be driving traffic to their website, b/c it is SLOW right now!

Apparently I wasn't the only one that missed that little detail!

Also, what Hyatt do you follow on Twitter? I would like to get in on these "inside deals"!

Isn't 40% off rack rate same as the "limited time offer" rates they just had?
I think the math works out the same or am I wrong?

Didn't give me much for my dates in mid February. A few select days gave me $249 prepaid vs. $280 AAA. I could see the $228 date for other time periods. Here are some additional details.

I went for the $174 rate at the Key West Resort on Front Street in late April. I normally resist prepaid rates that far in advance but it seemed like a good deal.

Looks like a pretty lame sale, at least for Hawaii. For the dates I checked, Waikiki was $161 (comparable to AAA rate) and Kauai was $260, much more than the Awaken Breakfast rate of $220 . Nowhere near the unannounced sale that took place a month ago (Waikiki $116, Kauai $195).
