Sounds like a good deal. They are offering their 1000 square feet "Concierge suite" with lounge access for $219.

With current dollar rates, this is especially good for foreign visitors...a big suite for €160 per night...

Do note you must stay before the end of January.

The same deal is available at the Palazzo (http://www.palazzolasvegas.com/PHOME.aspx); titled "Make Your Ultimate Escape - GPHOM08"

Unless I am missing something this would be an even better deal.

The Venetian deal states $50 slot/match per night of stay.
The Palazzo deal just states $50 slot/match.

unless i'm missing something the venetian is 50$ slot or match play and the palazzo is only 50$ slot.. which I'm assuming is useless to anyone who doesnt play slots.. making the venetian deal much better..

$50 slot/game table match play for venetian, but venetian said per nite where palazzo (only slot credit) does not. but that doesn't mean palazzo don't have the same as venetian.

but if that's the case, venetian offer is better.

have you ever ordered a shot of those really expensive cognac?

but it is a (1) $50 drink voucher, not drink credit.

The Palazzo voucher (I have it in front of me ) reads "$50 slot promo credit or $50 table game match play".

Thanks for confirming that!

So it sounds like the Palazzo deal is $50 match play per stay, not per day, correct?

I can't really comment on that because we are staying only one night.

I can however comment on the drink vouchers for LAVO. Nowhere in the offer nor on the voucher does it state a certain time for them to be used. Not even the receptionist said anything about that (in fact, she just slid over the folded coupons without any comment).
It turned out however, when we wanted to use them last night, that they are only good from 5-8pm. Of course by that time it was way past 8pm.
While I can sort of understand such a restriction, I am very disapointed by the fact that they never gave any sort of hint this would be the case. Since we are staying one night only this pretty much took $50 out of the calculation.

The gambling credit has to be used in combination with a "Club Grazie" card, which you can only receive before 8pm (after that the Club Grazie desk closes). While this is not as bad and we are going down there to make use of it in the next minutes, I am still surprised that they would close the desk this early and not let the guest know how to handle the credits.
