.....and for the record, if it IS starting at 12pm GMT on Monday, it'll be 2pm in Vienna!!
All this because someone asked what time 4pm GMT today (when they are posting more details) will be in Vienna!!

No it's not 12 EST that it starts, they haven't said when it will be yet.
As for the link.... it was detailed in the last email that LHW sent to registered members, so if you registered for this promo you 'should' have received one. Contact them if you registered and didn't receive the email.

I have been thinking about what architecture LHW will be using with Akamai. I suspect there will be redirects to pages that are on the Akamai servers. I still wonder if there will be a bottleneck on the LHW reservation database as I doubt that will be moved to Akamai. I am only slightly familiar with Akamai but maybe they also have some method of throttling the requests. At least this approach has a chance of success.
This is probably costing LHW a lot money. I applaud that LHW is sticking to what they originally offered, even if it is delayed from the original schedule.

Nothing is 'starting' at 4pm GMT (5pm UK time).
They (LHW) are posting details of the new sale date/time sometime after 4pm today on the dedicated web page. 12 minutes to go til then. They will give at least 48 hours notice of the sale.
