I went through the entire res, hit "Complete Booking" and got "We're sorry, we could not process your request." Maybe the gnome caught it or... ???

I've tried short stays, long stays. Different date combos out/inside the "special" booking period, ie 5 Apr - 12 Apr or 31 May - 6 Jun. Completely outside the posted dates (1 - 5 Apr), the initial availability search won't even go through.

I wonder if it was ever bookable.

Thanks anyway, OP.

They seem to have shutdown almost all of the Oakwoods. On expedia too.

Unhappy

Yeah, tried various dates, nothing. I guess Japan + Rate Mistake = No luck

I have yet to see one of these deals being honored there.

Well, I had a great stay on an executive floor at the Tokyo Hilton, and Orbitz did agree to honor my IC Tokyo Bay res but I decided not to use it...

The Oakwood in Meguro section of Tokyo is directly across from very nice Sheraton Miyako and you would be able to use their complimentary shuttle.

Expedia honored the Hilton mistake rates. I had a wonderful 5 night stay at the Tokyo Hilton for ~$2.75 per night and the Nagoya Hilton for another 5 nights ~$2.30 per night. Both stays I was upgraded to Executive floor with full access to the lounge.

Glad others got to enjoy a stay. Unfortunately the deals I got in on for Japan just never materialized.

They honored it for a select few but not others. If I recall correctly they honored it for those that called in and confirmed but not for those that didn't. I called Hilton to confirm which was not good enough for expedia.

Travelocity actually sent me a letter saying they were not going to honor it and sent me some coupons which I never used because you had to purchase the entire package from them.

I'm not complaining just recalling what happened.

Travelocity repeatedly told me in e-mails that the rate would be honored and that "I was good to go." When I got there the rate was not honored. After I departed for my trip, and a few hours before check-in Travelocity did send another e-mail saying the rate would not be honored.

Travelocity - "You'll never roam alone"

Yeah right!
