New Years promotion at the Sofitel Chicago Water Tower-£27 triple superior bft.

After the much acclaimed success of the Best Western Grant Park New Years promotion earlier this year it is time to promote next years bash.

The Sofitel Chicago Water Tower has triple superior rooms available with bft from £27 at weekends and £43 weekday. It's fully flex/cancelable and available for January '16 only I believe. Shame that's it's only on booking.com and priceline but it will be the hotels call as to whether the deal is honoured.

Book early - last years interest proved that there are more than a few Ft'ers out there that enjoy nothing more than a very hot pizza in a very cold climate

Is there any advantage to PL over Booking? I had Booking come back and say that they can't offer "promotional" rates, but they were very proactive in calling/emailing me and really went to bat with the hotel to get the rate down to less than half of the normal price. This is, of course, the exact opposite of what Expedia has done recently...

Is this deal dead? I can't seem to find anything under $192 per night. Is there a trick or setting that I am missing?

Good deal especially if cancellable. My experience with Chicago is that you can get cheap 4* rooms in January around $70 to $80 if you can stomach the cold which we often do.
