I've wondered that myself. I earned the 1 free night credit on this promo. I do not see any expiration date on it, nor did I see any talk of an expiration date in the program T&C's.

I just booked a room using my coupon code to get the free night. But now I would like to cancel that reservation and change hotels. Will my coupon code still be good or will it be dead? Any help?

Correct - the credit will be the total amount you pay up to $400.

I used the code for a booking. Should I have gotten some kind of confirmation that I will get the free night after the stay? I only got a note about getting one welcome night credit, which I think is what I'd get without the promotion. Thanks.

Total amount? I thought this did not include taxes.

Yes, it's been doing that this week. It was working fine before but I can't get anything to take this week.

In case it helps anyone else: I called about this (it turns out that you need to call Five Star at 800-997-9138 to ask anything about this promo). I was told everything looked right, that the coupon was inputted correctly, and that it should work fine.

So I ended up calling the Five Star number and the CSR from Missouri was very helpful. Initially, she couldn't get my promo code applied but after about 20 minutes of trying different tactics, she got it to work. I'm now booked @ $347.

I guess that you have to call FiveStar csr to find out.
