What is interesteting in the email of my second cancelation is attached a voucher with the hotel info. One thing I know, I will never bite to german sites with offers like this again. Expedia.de deal went sour and now this one. German sites sucks big time!!!!

Not sure if this is a joke, but 2,60 eur = 2.6 euros = $3.63

It's not a joke : it's the price after the $75 voucher has been applied

Dear customer.

Thank you for your booking request which we unfortunately can ‘t confirm.

The reason therefore is that in this product category according to German law and our terms and conditions we are intermediary: That means that a binding booking contract only becomes effective once the supplier has confirmed the booking to us. In your case we’re afraid the supplier has not confirmed the booking request for which reason we have to decline your booking.

We’re very sorry for any inconvenience this might cause. Should you seek further details please consult our terms & conditions: http://www.lastminute.de/AGB

Best regards,

lastminute.de

I hardly ever heard such a nonsense

What kind of supplier has no rooms left? Ha ha ha, bad joke The hotels have - of course - rooms available if one can book them online! The reality is that Lastminute does not want to honor the discount. And this has nothing to do with "German law". They forgot to add some minimum spending. Period. Bad luck for them! I would not accept the cancellations if I were you.

Well, luckily, I did not purchase anything. 72 $ discount for three nights is a bad deal for me anyhow. I get much better discounts. Also for one night bookings

This is what I was expecting after my first 2 cancelations... but still this is outrageous! They are producing lies to not honor binding contract between customer and them. If I would not check my email, I would not even know my hotels have been cancelled and I would have to buy the room at the walking-in prices.

It s*cks, the transaction is in Euro and my refund is nearly 10c$ less than the original charge - 8% due to exchange rate change and poor Canadian banking..
