Hi HK Tailor:
Welcome to FlyerTalk:
I am a frequent visitor to your future home and I would be delighted to visit with you. My next trip is really to SIN and I will just be in transit to HKG airport, as I am today.
I am writing this note from the Thai Lounge. I will be returning to US via HKG next week and then returning to SIN and the US on another trip in about one week. What is your availability in HKG?
Regards
747LWW
PS Drinks are on me.

Hello everyone,
I am relocating to Hong Kong later this year to oversee our office there. I have been a frequent visitor since I was a child but I am interested in making new friends outside my immediate social circle. I always enjoy meeting new people from all walks of life, from all corners of the globe. I'll be back in HKG at the end of the month... anyone up for a meet?

Thanks for the warm welcome. I haven't fixed my dates yet but was thinking of leaving for HKG on 30th January for 1-2 weeks.
Would be my pleasure to buy a round of drinks. I too am a frequent visitor to HK and have been to many bars, clubs, and restaurants. For a quiet drink I prefer Felix. I also like the Sheraton Sky Lounge but I feel the service is starting to slip. Other places I frequent are AQUA and FINDS.

I like FINDS. The service in the past has been good and I like the ambiance. I inquired about membership once and I don't recall the terms exactly but it was around HKD $20,000 and had few benefits that would actually be of use to me so I didn't consider it further. From what I recall, a temporary membership at Drop was offered.

I hope so slickalick as I have read many of your posts with great interest and would be delighted to meet you in person. My personal plans are that I will be in transit to SIN on Jan 26 and then transit to USA on Jan 31. I will be returning last week in March to SIN and hence be in HKG a couple of times. My longer range plans include a 2 or 3 night visit to HKG in July with family. What about you and others?
Is this the making of a HK 'do'? Count me in for drinks too...i'll be in town several days over the next two weeks (as needed for work, so no definitive dates yet)..and will be at the airport on Feb 8th. to catch the SQ flight to SIN at 1pm.
BTW, I have a very very close relationship to FINDS and if there are enough people - i could arrange something there!

Between 8th Feb - 7th Mar i will be in/around BOM/DEL/MAA/BLR/CMB/MLE and if anyone is around those areas, would be open to meeting aswell.

HKG Visit
Don't mean to cross post but will be in HKG (as mentioned in thread in Community) and would like to get to get together with locals and/or other FT travelers during the up coming holiday. Looking forward to my first Chinese NY on locale.

Will be in HKG Feb 15-19..

I do not wish to miss out on this thread but have been on business the past week in SIN. I passed through beautiful HKG only at the airport. I expect to be in HGK a couple of days during late March-early April. Expect to be with business associates at the Kowloon Shangi-la and my host, the GM at this location (if I can arrange a meeting this time). I will post details for the already purchased UA flights later. Just an early heads-up for anyone interested.
