Can I book at two different properties at the same time?
Long story short.. My wife's parents and grandparents are coming up for a visit and we want to try and pay for their rooms as a thank you for visting/helping us out with some stuff..
Our issue is that we are recently married, young and broke:( But my father in-law has cancer and because of that doesnt get out much. Could we book them a nice room at a Hilton and book a room for her grandparents at a "lesser" property and get credit for the stay/nights and collect points at both places? Sorry if this has been asked, but I cant find the answers. |
You are allowed credit for two rooms at the same hotel but the rules state that the Hhonors member must stay in the room to get the stay and night credit as well as the points. Unless you put one of the rooms in your name and check in with them, you are not entitled to the points, although others have reported getting them in the past. Highly unlikely you could do this for two rooms at different hotels. When your points don't post for second room, you would have to ring Hhonors and explain!! It wouldn't work.

If you both have an HH account, you can book one in your name and one in her's. Be there to check in and everything should be fine. Be sure to add them to the room in case there is an issue they need to involve the front desk.
