I just stayed at the Hilton LA/San Pedro 8Feb02 & the 1000 Bonus points, including Double Dip, were posted within 3 business days without any problem.

So needless to say I've never been able to get the extra 1000 points.

The online booking bonus appears in your account after your stay is completed, not when you book the reservation, unless your online booking and stay occur on the same day.

Just read the thread about the profile update. Did it and was pleasantly rewarded immediately.

Went ahead and added a reminder to my calendar to do this twice each quarter!!!

Yep, every time it is posted together with the rest of the points for the stay.

Several people have complained in this Forum though that their bonus points were not posted automatically. You may want to do a search for the appropriate thread.

Log onto the HHonors website and click on "All Activity." It should be clearly marked as "Online booking bonus."

I have received the 1000 points bonus, but only after putting up a fight about it. For some reason the system didn't accept that I had actually booked online and it took a few mails back and forth. All seems well now though.

I didnt get any points directly for two stays in January but my points was posted after an email to [email protected]

I've had to ask CS for it each time. The rep. adds it in immediately.

I had to call customer service. As soon as I read off the info from the reservation e-mail, they immediately posted the points.

I had a problem with the bonus not posting for a reservation and stay in January. A subsequent reservation and stay in February did post the bonus.

I sent an email to Customer Service via their web site, but nothing happened. Then, yesterday I read this thread and sent an email to [email protected]. Within a couple of hours, the bonus was posted and a email was sent to me in response.

GO FLYERTALK!!!
