Thanks papa and others

Thanks everyone. Actually, I did not complete the sign up yesterday, as the CSR could not find the code. She promised to look around and get me added whenever she figured it out. Nice gesture and a credit to Hhonors. Anyway, as Bjaj1 and MIKESILV have revealed, the code is MCIN and I am now signed up. Once again, thanks.

Just called up HHonors in Singapore, but was told that this promotion is only applicable to US residents.

Are the participating HHonors properties located all in the US or are they worldwide?

You must call the US number. This promo is (it seems) open to all but I doubt the local country teams have all the details.

Thanks to papachuck for pointing it out http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Can someone please clarify? Do we need to book between May 1 and July 31 AND stay during those dates? Or can we book now for stays between May 1 and July 31? Thanks.

papachuck Apr 26, 2002 11:32 am

Promo said book and stay between 5/1 and 7/31 but according to soonerman (above) existing bookings for that period will count. Calling today to see if my existing bookings will be credited or must I cancel and rebook after 5/1. I'll report results.

cgachuck Apr 26, 2002 11:49 am

I'm a Gold and just signed up by calling the HHonors CS number. I asked the CSR about the dates as they apply to the actual booking. She replied that I would need to both book and stay between May 1 and July 31. However, I must say that she did not seem to certain of this fact. I would still like to hear a definite clarification on this matter.

TravelLover Apr 26, 2002 12:27 pm

Cgachuck - I got the same answer you did when I signed up for the promotion. Besides, I wouldn't think it's worth taking a chance, anyway. I have a reservation next weekend (5/3) that I'm going to rebook on 5/1 so I get the bonus.

Soonerman: How did you determine that you "got the 2500 bonus" as the rules state you must book and STAY?

onedog Apr 26, 2002 2:56 pm

Just called HHonors and asked to be signed up for a new promotion and the CS agent knew exactlywhich promotion I was inquiring about. He asked how I heard of the promtion (postcard or email) and then his next words were "all signed up."

Great promtion HHonors and thanks papachuck for the tip.

Thank you papachuck!

My rep went off to check and said that stays booked AFTER signup but BEFORE 5/1 would receive the 2500 point bonus as long as they were between 5/1-7/31.
