No surprises here....I just had some stays post after almost 8 weeks.

How long does it take for stays to post?

HH just comped me Diamond VIP status. During
the last month I have had four Hilton stays
of which none has posted. I called HH CS and
they did not seem surprised. I have about 15
additional reservations. I am not interested
in hawking over this account and waiting one
month before faxing a copy of the statement
to get my credit. Is this normal? Should I
change reservations to other chains? Thanks

My points where posted within days; stay was at a Hilton in France. Hilton did not post the 1,000 bonus points for online-booking. I e-mailed Hilton. The answered that this takes one month or so. However, they posted the bonus points after receiving my e-mail.
Stay with Hilton! I find the Hilton people (at hotels, CS etc.) always very friendly. You may e-mail your complains to Adam Burke.

my stays post in about a week. When they post and I have sent in copies there has not been any question about posting. Why would you leave since they gave you diamond and I'm only gold?

All my HH stays this year posted without a problem (wish that were the case with their competitors). Online booking bonuses also posted without a delay, together with the associated stays. Typical waiting time for a stay to post - no longer than a week. Keep in mind that all those stays were US domestic, I've heard numerous complaints about HH stays overseas not posting.

Instead of waiting for a month to fax in your folio, fill out the missing stay request form after a week.

I am highly impressed by this feature. Stays notmally post within 48-72 hrs after sending in the request via the web.

Thanks for your quick responses. I have
sent an e-mail to HH regarding my first
stay. I can continue in some cases to book
rooms and earn points with Hyatt or Starwood
but was trying to re-build my HH account.
Received a comp. based upon top tier status
with above. Thanks again

E-Mail I got from Hilton regarding bonus points:

For On-Line-Booking bonus points to post automatically to your account
the lead time is 2 to 3 weeks from the date the stay is completed.
However, I have made a one time exception in your case and posted the
points manually.

Generally how long does it take to post HHonors after stay?

Hi,

I stayed in Chicago at the Chicago Hilton and Towers on Sat. and Sun.

Generally speaking when can I expect to see these miles hit the account?

I want to know if I should start bugging Hilton yet (but it only happened 2 days ago).

-Thanks

Usually within a week. 2 days is way too soon to worry about it. Give it some time.

My stays have started posting within a week of completing the stay. Sometimes they post after three or four days! Now I just need that 2500 point bonus to show up too.

I usually wait about 10 days, then I call, then I have to fax proof of the stay, then I am promised posting within the day, then the next day I note that they posted an amount, but the amount is wrong, then I call back then it gets posted correctly that day.

How long you ask? 11 days, two phone calls, one fax.

Hilton has generally be AWESOME in posting my stays. Quite often they show up in 2 days after I check out, unbelieveably fast compared to the other hotel chains.

Now if only Hilton.com was half as good as their posting speed........
