Amex Ascend Spend Bonus - 20,000 points for 2,000 in spend
Was targeted for this offer:
Basically amounts to 13x Hilton HHonors points for two amounts of $2,000 in spend from now until the end of the year. Worth it? 6.5% return on spend on my Ascend at a minimum (valuing Hilton points at .5 cents)

Need to look into this: I just got the email, signed up and registered my Ascend.
However...
on my to-do list this weekend was “Upgrade Ascend to Aspire.” But I guess I need to find out if the promo follows the card or can be applied to the potential new Aspire.
Dont want to miss the upgrade 150k bonus, but don’t want to lose this easy 20-40k either.

I didn't get this on my Ascend. I got this as a 2 x 10,000 for 1k spend each on my regular hilton Amex. I am sure I won't be targeted for both--wish I had gotten the Ascend offer, but last year, i didn't get anything, so at least this is something.

Got 10k/$1k 2x offer on my Ascend card. Nice. I'm busy trying to hit the $5k target on my Amex SPG Luxury upgrade but once I'm confident I've got the spend lined up for that I'll see if I can hit this offer at least 1x, too.

I got an email with 2x 20K for my Aspire, and signed up immediately. Later I got an email offering 2x 10K for my Ascend, but i don’t seem to be able to sign up for a bonus on the second card.

I got the 2x $2k on my Citi converted ascend. Unfortunately I had just put on the last couple $k to reach $14100 of the $15k spend I needed. Maybe I'll put an extra $1100 to get a 20k bonus. Definitely not double. (20k points worth $80 currently and seems to drop in value every few months. And I already have about 700k Hilton pesos without immediate use planned)

Same here. Highly targeted; my DW, who holds a regular HH Amex of the same vintage, has not gotten this offer. And don't bother looking for this in your Amex account special offers, because it isn't visible there, even for me.
