5th Night Free Promo on Cash and Points or Points Only?

5th Night Free Promo on Cash and Points or Points Only?
If I book 5 nights on a cash + points rate, do I get the fifth night free?

Is this promo only eligible on 100% award bookings (no cash/points) and what if I mix up cash + points booking with consecutive award night booking; does the fifth night free promo apply?

When using the app, it says “Pay only with points to get a free night”. I haven’t tried it myself.

Unlikely. Imagine using 1000 points and cash then get 5th night free. Undercuts full cash paying customers, effectively getting almost 20% off BAR with no customary advance booking restrictions for discounted rates.

Points only, and even limited to standard room rewards not premium room rewards.

So if you book a rewards night stay of 5 nights and the 5th is free - as a gold / diamond customer to you still get upgrades ?
