Hilton Status?
Has anyone been successful getting Hilton Diamond status to be matched anywhere? It seems like alot of the major Hotels/airline do not hold it in such high regard which I find pretty odd.

Airlines do not give you airline status because one is an Elite with a Hotel chain. There are some partnerships though like United and Marriott or Delta with SPG. As for Hotel status matches, other than the crazy period just after the Marriott-SPG merger announcements, hotel programs are now back to status challenges rather than outright matches.
