Has anyone heard if there are any plans for hilton properties in Cuba now?

Actually, these three are going to be Starwood. Hilton has not made any announcements.

I wonder if they could get back the Havana hotel, that Conrad Hilton built?

I would recommend they don't as it is old and run down and Hilton would probably be better with a Malecon facing property. There is a new property being built in Havana facing the malecon that would be a better one for a Conrad.

As well, it is now jointly owned by Cuban govt and the Melia(Spain) group.

I recall seeing an article recently that Bugsy Siegel's heirs are lawyering up, getting ready to sue the Cuban government for confiscating their hotel-casino. Will be interesting to see if they can at least get back title to the property and building.
