I just got off the phone with the diamond desk (about another matter) and the CSR said she wanted to let me know that the double point promotion was extended and that they were working on correcting the double points so my stays earlier in June should be posted by the end of this month.
I'm impressed you got to talk to the Diamond Desk. I called twice this past weekend and it just rang and rang. No automated answer, no "We're closed", nothing.

Just curious... Can one book a double points room under the double points promotion causing a quadrupling of the base points and doubling the 5000 point promotion? Doubt this would work but just interested in what you guys think.

If you book a double points rate and are registered for the double points promotion, you should get triple points, namely base points plus 2 x base points. No way would the 5000 points double!

Diamond/Gold + Points-and-Points (diamond = 4x)
My Way Points (4x + My Way)
5000 bonus (4x + My Way + 5000)
P. S. My latest stay posted today correctly with the extended double points.
