It looks like they're doing this one again. Just got the email that after signing up, every stay from now until the end of the year will count towards 2016 status.

Apparently it is. Here's the fine print in the email:

This exclusive offer is open only to the HHonors member who received the email from Hilton HHonors™ announcing this promotion. Offer valid for eligible stays completed now through December 31, 2014 (“Promotion Period”). HHonors members must first register for the offer prior to the check-out of the first stay within the Promotion Period. “You can start achieving your 2016 status” means each completed stay will count towards your total stays in both the remainder of 2014 and 2015. This offer applies only to stays and will not count towards the HHonors member's Base Points or nights in 2015. A "stay" is defined as the total number of consecutive nights spent at the same hotel, regardless of whether the guest checks out and checks back in again. If an elite status upgrade is achieved or elite status is maintained through this offer, the status will be valid until March 31, 2017. An elite status upgrade means that the HHonors member qualifies to earn a higher elite status within a calendar year for the subsequent year. Maintaining elite status means that the HHonors Member qualifies to preserve that elite status within a calendar year for the subsequent year. Members must re-qualify for elite status each year.
It's amusing that when I click the link and try to register it gives me an error stating "You are not able to register for this promotion online. Please call the Hilton Reservations and Customer Care nearest you." :rolleyes:

I can't even get them to properly credit my 2014 stays for 2015 status. N:rolleyes: wonder I never get promos like this.

I'd love to be in on this. I've already hit Diamond and if I got this in place this week I'd have 20 or so nights in the bag to start off next year.

Got 35 Hilton stays this year. Over 20 Hilton nights in September, most of them in hotels opting out of the triple-miles promotion.

Looks like this is not good enough to recieve a rollover stays e-mail.

So I guess I'll first complete my IHG promotion now, which requires just three well-chosen nights to get two free night certificates ANYwhere.

Hilton: have a great X-mas, see yah next year!

Painful to not be part of the targeted offer :( Am already at 34 stays this year with at least another 5-10 stays before the end of the year.

I'm at 66 nights for the year, and have already polished off my IHG promotion as well. My last paid HH stay ended 05 July.

So I'm a free agent for the rest of the year. ;)

I'm currently showing 48 stays (some of which were from last year's promo) and 104 nights for the year. Like I said last year, this promo really doesn't provide me any incentive to do anything with Hilton for the rest of the year unless I was planning to cut back next year. :confused:

Somebody post the link please? I never get any marketing emails from Hilton. So how do I know that I am *NOT* targeted?

I might as well be, but just did not receive the email...

Last year, those who were not targeted, but managed to sign up, did not get the stay credit after all.

Thanks for the link. Did not work for me, however. Wondering how Hilton defines their targets or segments for such promotions.

If you happen to be one of the group on here that never gets any emails from Hilton, the only way to know if you're targeted is to call/email them. I did that last year and was indeed targeted, but never got the email. So thanks to OP for giving us this heads-up that there is another of these promos.

It really is time for Hilton to fix their email issues. This issue was brought up with the HHonors rep quite some time ago but nothing ever came of it.
