My boss has not stayed in a non-Hilton hotel in 5+ years. He has over 975,000 HHonors points accrued. How would Hilton, who's already infamous for their industry-leading IT department, even track HHonors' members stays outside of the brand? |

Given all those who have posted here to say they have not been targeted I am genuinely shocked I have considering I receive almost no email at all from Hilton except booking confirmations. I just tried to re-register and it says I'm already registered. If it wasn't for FT then I wouldn't have known about this promo and hence targeting me would have been a total waste of time.

I'm more or less done with Hilton for a while. I will have enough stays in 2014 (a mix of revenue and award) to meet silver for 2015, due to stays while I was still Diamond in Q1 2014 and having no other options this summer, but there is no real incentive to earn Hilton Pesos since I'll continue as a silver for the foreseeable future.
PS if you couldn't tell, I didn't receive an email, though it's likely b/c I'll hit my silver re qualifying stay in a few weeks. My booking strategy now is award stays go to Hilton and revenue stays will be going to SPG. |

66 nights I did not get anything, last year I also did not get anything and called the DD and they put me on. I have around 7 stays booked for November - I'll call tomorrow and see if I get anywhere. I do my usual "I have been a Diamond for over 10 years in a row" thing and let everyone know if it gets anywhere. |
