Can I link a booking to my account?

Can I ask whats probably a basic question - apologies if found somewhere else already.
My girlfriend booked us a trip away to our local hilton as a surprise and did the booking herself and in her name. Is it possible to link it to my hhonors account given that I'll obviously be staying? Or does it have to be a booking in my name for it to count. Its already paid for as its a AP booking

Welcome to flyertalk.

I don't believe you can change the credit on a prepaid reservation, so it's probably too late.

Try having her call Hilton and add you as another guest on the reservation, and give your hhonors number?

Yes. Your best bet is to add it atthe hotel. If it is a pre-paid reservation via the Hilton website you will be ok. If it is via a third party at a discount rate, (eg. Hotwire, Priceline etc) you will not receive any Hhonors points because these stays are not eligible.
