States here complimentary in room high speed internet access.
Thanks. Yes, that is the standard Hilton policy, but not what I was looking for actually. Sorry to confuse you.

What i meant was, I was trying to see if the hotel's hilton page says anything about internet price & policy, as my parents were told there will be a charge for in room wifi, but I could not find anything mentioning, not even a price.

Last time I stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago, to get internet they had to come into the room and set up a WiFi system. It was free to Diamonds.

Has anyone been recently or know if this is a temporary or permanent move? Thinking of swapping points booking at the Intercontinental in September to paid booking Hilton or Sheraton but only if exec lounge is as it was before.

Thanks for the info Kalboz, but it seems like the benefits were cut already before the ownership change. Hilton Hua Hin is off my list until they re-think the lounge offerings.

Any recent changes?

I realised that I should have looked at this thread before going ahead and booking 5 nights in a gulf executive room in this hotel. I don't really care too much about lounge offerings in the afternoon and evenings, but if there is only continental breakfast offered at the lounge, I would be rather pissed off especially if the normal restaurant breakfast has a wider spread. Also any chances of room upgrades for HH Gold members?

Hilton Hua Hin

The lounge is now very good.

At pre dinner drinks there is a choice two bottled beers, house wines, aperitifs and branded spirits.
There are always two or three hot self service items and the usual salad bar.
There is also a platter of hors d'oeuvres to order, these are available between 5pm and 7pm.

At breakfast there is a good selection of hot food to order and a continental selection, breakfast is between 7am and 10:30am.

There is afternoon tea between 2:30pm and 4:30pm, I never tried it.

The lounge is open all day for tea, coffee, soft drinks and water.

We're here for another three days, enjoying it so far.

Glad to hear that the lounge is up to standard again. Hua Hin was crossed off my list, but I am more than happy to put it back on if the lounge is getting good reviews.

Out of interest: is the Executive Lounge back up on the top floor or on the Ground or Mezzanine level?

Enjoy your stay mking!

Hello.
The lounge is on the mezzanine floor, it's a bit small but it's never been full while we've been here.
