Asking your help since I do not understand anymore. My question is about Hilton Double points, the offer is now valid I guess in most Hotels.

I was having a stay, which costed let's say 500 USD, which normally means 5000 points. Ok, I am Diamond VIP, so I get 50% extra, so I got 7500. Since they have double points offer, I guess, I should get 5000 points extra making total of 12 500 for that stay. Am I correct??

Well, my account was having a total, let's say 100 000 points before that stay. After that stay I have 107.500 points. My personal opinion is that I have not got double points - Hilton Hhonors say that I have, I just cannot see them (well, that is truth - I cannot see them).

So what is the case? I understood based on the discussion on this board that you cannot see the extra points in each individual stay, but you can see them in your account total? So who is stupid - me or Hilton Hhonors?

on the website statement, it does not show double dipping on a seperate line, but it sometimes shows up in the total. my total was was fine until I called them up to say they missed some stays and after i was done they had subtracted some of the double dipping and said they could not fix it but they would call me back in a week.

I have the very same exact question (I'm diamond also) and can't see the double points on my statements, well let me correct that, I've seen it on two of twelve eligible stays and can't figure out why I rec'd it on those two unrelated stays but not the others.
