I wrote Hilton Honors about it yesterday and today I received the following response:
Hi peter1012,
Thank you for your inquiry regarding status match. We appreciate you taking the time to contact us.
I understand your concern and apologize for the inconvenience caused. Our status match portal is not working and our technical team is working very hard to resolve the issue soon. I would request to keep trying at the portal after regular interval so that your request will get submitted as the issue gets resolved.
Your patience and understanding is highly appreciated.
As always, thanks for traveling with us and please let us know if you have any other questions. You can reach us any time at [email protected].

So, basically they recognize that there is a problem, but they don’t offer any solution. I have a pretty long stay planned next week and it’ll suck if I cannot include it in the challenge.

It looks like the Hilton forms are working again (at least for the moment). After weeks of trying and getting the error messages, it finally accepted me today. This of course figures because it's after my stay that I was hoping to have included in the challenge.

Hilton Status Match down
The status match page just keeps saying this when I try to submit it:
Do I need to use a specific browser or do any particular magic incantation to make it work?
I searched I don't see existing threads on this but I suspect there is one I missed

Btw, I did eventually solve this. I needed to disable the ad blocker I use, presumably it was preventing the login credentials from being passed from one domain to the other or there was some other tracker failing that the code depended on.
But it's been almost a week now. I know they say 7-12 days but anyone know how many days it usually takes? I assume they send a confirmation or refusal by email and don't just ghost me if they refuse it?
Edit: Btw my status match was approved after about a week. Fwiw I sent printouts from Marriott web site which only say my first name.
I don't suppose the double-night promotion counts towards status match does it? I would imagine not...
