But more importantly, I made my Q1 Diamond Challenge and have, finally, for the first time, made Diamond over Gold VIP!
I feel like I've finally arrived

Over half way to Diamond in Q1
Over half way to Diamond, would have been there if they did not have the X2, X3, X 4 bonuses in Q1. I would have hopped around but I will take the 260K points I made this Quarter.
I will hop around this quarter until I get there.

On another note, my husband did not re-qualify for Diamond last year and I was under the impression that his status would slip back to Gold at the end of March this year, but its now the 3rd of April and he is still Diamond. He has the surpass card but did not reach the $40K spend last year. Is anyone else experiencing something similar?

Have earned Diamond status via points and nights past three years - but also qualify automatically every year due to HGVC status.

This doesn't include the 12 day stay I am currently in the middle of. So as of Friday, I'll hit 75. I have 15 more days booked in April alone.
ugh.

That Q1 promo was timed perfectly for me. Had a 25-night stay in Dallas on Feb! Cashing them in for a 2 week trip to Australia next year!

Reports are that it's taking a little longer than expected for status to slip back; it will probably go in a few days.

There is no soft landing in HH. Unless he met the spending/stays/nights/points requirement he will drop to silver (as Surpass cardmembers are guaranteed silver) rather than gold.

On another note, he got the Surpass card last year in June. Had he not completed the Gold requirement shouldn't he get Gold status in any case because of the card?
