Thanks for keeping the list updated! ^ Mods, is there any way to make this a sticky?

And I just noticed that that the Shelby GT-H is a G class vehicle -- does this mean I can demand one as a PC upgrade on a F reservation instead of a Grand Marquis?

Obviously you know the gist of this , but one thing we've seen from this list being posted periodically is that classes like G4, G6, whatever don't mean those vehicles are class G at all.

I also think it's funny that the list has continued to say "Mazda 626" which hasn't been that car's name in 4 years. Also still says "Ford Windstar" which is defunct as well for a few years now. Apparently if it's close enough, they won't bother to change it.

Interesting that they use the engineering code name JAGUAR X400 as the Jag X-Type.

Someone told me that Hertz will no longer be getting Jags.

Also find it sad that the Cadillac XLR is no longer on the list.

Chrysler Pacifica

I haven't seen the Chrysler Pacifica at many stations, but wouldn't mind finding one in my stall one of these days. Any idea what class to reserve? I don't see the Pacifica on the list, but know they're out there somewhere.

Heh, I missed the X400 one. I've seen the Jag rumor floated around here as well. Unless Ford has built some incentive into the deal, the independent Hertz has no particular incentive to stick with Ford vehicles (including the premiums in the Prestige line like Jag, Volvo, etc.) apart from tradition. I think so far it has been too early to see what effect this will have, but I don't know. In my experience the fleet is quite a hodgepodge of stuff anyway, many more different things than just the representative models on the list, of course.

Was the XLR on the previous list? I don't think it's necessarily gone just because it's not here.

As for the Pacifica, according to the "List your free upgrades" thread, it's Q6, which puts it with the midsize SUVs. Actually getting one is going to vary by station as always. The one reported was at DCA in June.

This list is great, but I notice that Toyota Camry and Toyota Avalon are not listed. I have seen both listed individually for SEA.

I've been seeing the "Toyota Avalon or similar" as a bookable option more frequently of late. If it's still H-class there's a rather interesting mix of cars one could end up with, since H also includes the G35, Hyundai Azera, and Audi A4 (not the convertible).

The A4, by the way, seems to be showing up more. There's some floating around NYC, and in May PHX told me they had recently received a bunch of them.
