Does anyone else hate the Hertz website?
For the first time I'm attempting to reserve a car on the Hertz site. AAA gave me some stupid little coupons worth $10 or $20 which the site won't accept, for one reason or another. Definately not worth the trouble. My main complaint is that the dates, times and months are prone to change as I try to continue on to the next page. I just find it a difficult site to navigate. I tend to do much better on hotel sites.

I don't
The only thing which annoys me is that, when you change the hour of pickup, it will automatically change the *date* of the *return* (to the day after pickup). Makes no sense.

Just changed a reservation. EZ to use. And, much better than the old site.
I don't believe the issues is with the Hertz site, but the fault lies in that the coupons the OP is trying to use has blackouts and exceptions.

Regarding coupons, sometimes they don't work on a given pickup day, etc., but there are plenty of other possibilities to try in the coupon codes thread.

I try not to ever use it
I find the site so difficult to use that I never use it. I either use our corporate travel system, when I'm booking a flight at the same time, or I call Hertz directly. I find it faster and easier, and I'm somebody who like to book ALL travel online. The Hertz site just doesn't cut it, from a usability perspective.
Coupons from Hertz are another can of worms, too. I've used them twice, on reservations booked by telephone. Both times, I've had trouble. And I had to stand on line at a counter and hand the coupons over, which meant the normal #1 Club Gold super-fast pickup just didn't happen.

Also, I would prefer that the website automatically populate a default frequent flier account on the last page before confirmation. And for some reason, bookings made through my corporate travel tool don't show up under my list of reservations, even though I can change/cancel them online.

Don't like it
There are just too many clicks to get what you want. It could benefit from a redesign.
