Altima an Intermediate?
Called the HLE yesterday for upcoming weekend rental. Reserved intermediate online @ 20.46/day. Asked if I could reserve the Altima (had it a few months ago). Agent said it was in the next class up and was at the higher end of the class. Last time I rented it is was intermediate class. Is there somewhere where I can see class listings and cars in those class categories? Rent from MSP and/or HLE in Minneapolis area.

The newest model Altima has grown in size from an intermediate to a full. It's dimensions are similar to the last Maxima model, albeit with a four cylinder engine in most models produced. It makes sense that the rental companies have reclassified it.

Hertz classifies it as a YC - "Specialty Intermediate". So it is an intermediate, but Hertz often tries to charge $15 extra for it if you ask for it at the counter.
I have received them on Intermediate rentals a few times (no extra charge as they were pre-assigned to me). I love them, and have flagged it in my profile (call Hertz to have it added) as my preferred rental when doing Intermediates.
