qualification dates
If I pick up a car on Dec 31st and return it on Jan 1st, does anyone know what year that rental will be credited to? I tried to contact Hertz directly and ask but got a nonsensical response, so I'm hoping someone here might have experienced this in the past.

A few years ago I was able to get an emailed answer from Hertz c.s. to the same question.

Either something changed in the intervening years or one of the reps is wrong.

Also, Hertz use to list rental receipts by the month they started in your account. I had many rentals that started in one month and ended in the next. But they would always post to the month they were started.
