Cancelation Policy
I accidently transposed my name by two letters and wanted to update my name. Hertz says I have to cancel and rebook on their site and there is an $100 fee (I booked two days ago) in order to make a name change. When I call, they say they will charge a 5% fee for using the phone. Is there really no way to update my name for a clear transposition error?

Is this a prepaid rate? Was it booked with Hertz, an OLTA, etc.?

I really would not sweat this too much. In all likelihood, no one will notice or, if they did, care. I'm assuming it's Micheal Jones / Michael Jones rather than something more convoluted.
