Maximizing Long Term Rentals
I'll be renting a car from Hertz for the next few months. The location is 15 minutes from my house. What's the best way to maximize the points earning (Hertz, AA, MR, United, etc.) with lowest prices? Looks like weekly rental cost is the same as monthly. Monthly is obviously more convenient, but I'm willing to keep swapping cars if the benefits are significant.
I've been trying to status match with Marriott PP, but the process seems to be taking forever (already been 2 weeks). My first rental will be in few weeks so I'm hoping the status match will go through by then.
I'm using Autoslash to monitor the prices. I have all top tier CCs - Amex PLT, CSR, and CNB Visa Infinite.

Depends on what you're going for. Airline miles have a $1ish surcharge per day, so that will into some of the costs. Hertz will give you a % rebate since it's revenue based, and I'd imagine that's not the optimal option. You probably need to look through promos for all the programs you might be interested in crediting to. Loyalty Lobby might have a list too.

Good tip. I was planning on doing 4x weeks anyway so it would be exactly 28 days.
