Missing Hertz Points

Has anyone had continued issues with Hertz rewards points? It seems like every booking I have a problem. I never receive the bonus for being a Five Star, I never receive the bonus of X2 and X3 when they offer those promotions and I book. Every time I contact them they just tell me "they discovered a glitch" and my points will be in my account tomorrow, which never happens. I estimate I'm missing around 3k - 4k points over the last 18 months.

Thinking about changing companies now...if you can't get the little things right.

I haven't gotten any points for my past 6 rentals. All the reps have a different excuse but in the end I ask them to put the points in manually.

Still nothing, they have continued to lie to me that I'll have them in a few hours. Horrible service.

Insist they do it on the spot and you should confirm on the website before hanging up.

None of my paid rentals have earned points since late July. I submitted a missing points request over a week ago with no reply.

Did something change with corporate discounts earning points? Im with IBM and have always used their code with no issues.

Just checked, and the last rental I received points on was in July. Several of my rentals since then I did credit to UA, but I've got at least 4 that went to ZE1.

All of the rental show in my points activity, but all with 0 points. None were pre-paid and I did nothing different than the dozens of rentals before them that I did get points for.

Seems there is a major issue then. Their customer service isn't open on weekends, so I've set a reminder for me to call tomorrow morning to see what's up. Sounds like others have done the same and not gotten very far. If they at least acknowledge there are issues, then we know someone's aware. I do, however, have some award rentals I'd like to do in the coming month and can't while my points are in a holding pattern.

I've gotten points for the last 3 rentals I had using AAA CDP. I am however getting a wrong number of bonus points - should be a 25% bonus after 6 rentals and I'm not getting that. I feel like it would be a tough call to explain to the agent what I'm complaining about, which is why I haven't called yet.
On the topic of missing stuff, I didn't get the 2 extra credits for my 2 HLE rentals during their 'rent at HLE get double rental credits promo'. I tried calling in but the agent had no clue what I was talking about. I'll probably email/Facebook contact for that one.

I signed up for a bonus points offer, as I have done several times in the past. Usually, the bonus points are awarded right away.

This time they didn't. The small print days that it may take up to four weeks after the end of the promotion period (i.e. )at November), but that has never been my experience.

Should I ask for those points right away or wait?

I called Gold Club Customer Service today and spoke with a rep who manually calculated and added points to my account for all the rentals that did not credit. She also credited me the relevant bonuses I should have gotten. It amounted to about 1400 points. She acknowledged there was an issue in July/August, but she wasn't sure why they never caught up to me, and also why even my September rentals have not earned anything.

I called in today (the Rewards desk's hours are limited) and spoke to a great agent by the name of Cathy. She added my points without further ado. Here's a happy camper. :-)
