SLC rentals
This is a suggestion to renting alternative at SLC: now with the lighttrax rail system in place, you can take a train from just outside terminal one for $2.50, get off at the Courthouse station which I think is 450 S Main and walk about 2-3 blocks to a HLE, which is 750 S. Main. SUV-wise I saw a Rav4 there. You can return it to SLC and if you can put up with that 30 min inconvenience, you might see a an appreciable difference in price.
