Notes To Location

An agent at SLC was telling me the other day that I can put a note to them somewhere in my reservation. Specifically, I really like cars with leather seats. He said that note could help tip the location I'm booking at off to that. Anyone know where this is?

You can call in and have it done over the phone; that is probably the easiest way. Alternatively I think they can do it at the desk.

Assuming you book on line, the "note" field is on the same page that you enter arrival details.
In my experience no one at the location ever reads what you write in that box. YMMV.

I'm fairly certain that these notes don't actually generate anywhere we can read them if you do them online. About all we can see is if you put a preference for a specific model of vehicle.

That said, on Hertz's end we do have the ability to input like 100 characters of "notes" in a special portion of the reservation (a spot for a home address for pickup service, etc), so an agent could definitely put in if you were speaking to them. Some online-made reservations are screwy and don't allow you to update them after putting notes in though.

I would never see these notes though unless I was specifically pulling up your reservation for some reason. I wouldn't see the notes if I was going through the checkout process.
