How do Hertz choose model example for each class?
Does any one know how Hertz choose the example given for each model class (excluding exact reservable model categories).
Is it based on the highest volume of a model within a category (so the most common you will get), or is it based on consumer feedback of which model they most like in a category?
I was trying to work it out for the STAR category, as the 'model example' is the Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder, a car that was stopped being made in August 2011. Would this still be the most common car in this category - if so Hertz must be sat on a ton of old cars in this category.
Must apply to other categories to though - any comments?
