Points posting after buying them
Hello all,
I am 50 points short of a 2-day weekend award and would like to be able to use it this upcoming weekend for a trip. I faxed the sheet last Friday but nothing has hit my account yet.
I did some searching around and could not find anything with regards to the turn around time from when one faxes in the sheet to buy points and for when they finally post. I know the page says allow up to two weeks, but in all reality, how long does it usually take?

I have not done it personally, but I would not be surprised if it took two weeks. The e-rewards point transfers for Hertz seem to take a while also, whereas my past e-rewards transfers for HHonors points posted almost immediately.

The only programs that transfer into Hertz are e-rewards and e-miles. FWIW, my transfer into Hertz from e-rewards has not yet posted. I made the transfer on Sunday, so it'll probably take another week.
Have you looked at the weekender deal? it often provides a good rate for vehicles even larger than the two smaller class sizes. You could also use airline miles to book a free car rental. I realize that is not such a good deal.
