Current LAX fleet

Hi all,
I a Hertz PC member from Australia & am spending 8 days in LAX over Xmas.
I am looking to book a Prestige vehicle for this period, but was wondering if I should book a standard car and negotiate for a paid upgrade to Prestige (E350 Merc or similar). If so, what is a typical upgrade cost?

Previously, I have had Jags & Audis and my last rental there was a Caddy Escalade, but the price on these for the week is over the top.
Any suggestions on what would be a good strategy or should I just reserve the E350 & make sure I get exactly what I want ?

Thanks

If you want an E350, book it. Otherwise, they may have any for the dates you want or the price may not be what you want to pay.
