minivan model

I am renting from the HLE this christmas with a minivan confirmed. This usually means a KIA. Does anyone know what model it would be? I know it is a ways off, but I have to haul a small bookcase and needed to make sure it would fit in the trunk area.

If I knew the model, I could go to the local KIA dealer, measure and make sure.

Anyone have any experience with KIA models?

Thanks...

There is only one KIA minivan (Sedona) and they only come in one length (they're not like the old school SWB/LWB varying models offered by Chrysler). The only difference between the two models offered by KIA are options (LX v EX)/features, that will no effect on the ability to carry passengers/cargo, they even have the same seating configurations (2, 2, 3).

However there are more then KIA's on the lots, Sienna's are also pretty common as are the general run of the mill Caravan/Town & Country models.

In the past 6 months, I've had two minivans. 1) Kia Sedona. 2) Chrysler T&C.

The T&C was higher trimmed and drove/rode MUCH nicer and returned great gas mileage. I was a bit bummed as I rented an SUV (I think Rav4) and this is what I got. The HLE in FLL said it was the only car they had and that it was an upgrade. I argued otherwise as I cruised around SoBe in my teal green T&C.

I felt the T&C was slightly larger, but it was just my perception. Both are full sized minivans so chances are if your stuff would fit in any minivan, it'd also fit in a Sedona or T&C.
