Pickup time?

Pickup time?
I will be arriving at LAX and picking up a rental there. I'm scheduled to arrive at 12:15p, what time should I state as the pickup time? And if I happen to arrive late, do I need to call Hertz, or just supply my flight info?

I'd just supply your flight information in the reservation. As long as your flight isn't delayed arrival by more then a few hours, there won't be really any issues in terms of your car still being in a stall assigned to you (in a Gold Canopy location) or your documents pre-printed in a Gold Counter location.
I usually make my reservations for 15 minutes after my scheduled arrival, giving me time to collect my luggage as well as any possible delays (although lately, I've actually been arriving early).

If the flight is delayed by an hour or more I'll usually call the 800 number so they can update the reservation, but as long as your flight information is on the reservation it shouldn't be a problem. I make the reservation the same time the plane lands, the plane is usually a bit early wtih all the padding in the schedules now.
