Error "REFERENCE NUMBER REQUIRED FOR BILLING REF"
I've been encountering this error when trying to complete my booking online. Anyone else experienced this and do you know what this means?

Nothing to do with the original post. This is an 11 year old thread.

As this was a very old thread that was bumped and the errors are not related, I'll go ahead and close this thread.
The error could be related to geographical location. I get a similar error when I try to access some USA retail store websites when I am abroad or using a VPN. The OP can try using private browsing, or using the Hertz site in their country (so if it was Hertz UK Hertz.co.uk) and see if the issue persists.
Thanks
