snorkel sail?

We will be going back to Oahu in November and would like to try one of the snorkel sail tours. The one that departs at Waikiki Beach (I think in front of the Royal?) looked intriguing. Unfortunately I forgot the name and when I google there are so many choices.

Which snorkel sail would be the best on Oahu? Are there any really to avoid?

I loved Captain Andy's snorkel sail. They take you to kaneohe bay where, when the tide is right, you can stand on a sand bar in the middle of the bay.

It's on a catamaran and lunch is served.

But for good snorkeling, you want coral, not sand! Other than Hananamua (sp?) Bay, we have not found any GREAT snorkeling spots on Oahu, not saying that there are none, we just haven't found any. We did find several areas where there were absolutely NO fish, but that's another story. We did think that the snorkeling just off the Hilton Hawaiian Village, out a few hundred feet, by the underwater reef, was fairly decent. Our best snorkeling was in Kauai and the Big Island.

Good luck.

How do Captain Bob's and the Outrigger compare? These seem to be mentioned most often.
