thebus system route map

most bus systems either have a map with all the routes overlaid or a computer program to give you an itinerary. thebus seems to have neither? im planning some stuff for a hawaii trip in june and wish to go from waikiki sheraton to the camellia buffet on mccully. the distance appears long enough to take 20-30 mins to walk but short enough to make finding the right bus route from the start-end points on the website difficult. anybody have any suggestions besides calling them?

call

I moved here and hoped to hvae a computerized route system like BART in San Fran, but no luck. You can either figure it out on your own or just call them.

They do have a search feature that allows you to put the bus number in and it will show you the timetable or a map. www.thebus.org
Also, USAToday had a feature that linked to The Bus. It allowed you to put two destinations in and it would tell which bus to use and how long it would take. I tried to find it but couldnt.

Google has a beta (alpha) version of its transit search up at

http://www.google.com/transit

It includes The Bus system and is pretty nice.
