Maui Chefs Present
Has anybody been to this? It sounds like it could be very interesting, and happens to be during part of our trip to Maui.

This 13th annual Maui food-lovers' tradition spotlights twelve of the island's most innovative chefs at an elegant themed dinner and cocktail party under the stars at an oceanfront location. Paid admission includes an evening of gourmet food and wine, entertainment and silent auction. The event benefits Maui community groups. Each and every year there are about 500+ "Maui Chef" thingees. All are way overpriced and come with strange combinations of strange tastes. You will be better off going to a nice restaurant and enjoying a lovely quiet dinner there without the whirl and whiz of so called fusion-food PR. I recommend either or the two Longhi's.
