Any more recent recommendations? Or maybe nothing's changed... Staying at FS Manele Bay for a weekend trip from Oahu.

The miniature golf at Koele is very special, even for non-golfers.

I went last year and post #15 pretty much covers everything I would have noted. We had a great time at the Pineapple Festival, but that's only 1 day each summer.

On our last weekend trip over there, our favorite meal was lunch at Views at Manele. Try their Prawn BLT.

We didn't even bother renting a car as we had plenty to do for a weekend between enjoying Hulupo'e Bay, enjoying the Lodge grounds, and hiking the Munro trail while taking advantage of the hotel shuttles.
