Shower/Pool for transit passenger

I am thinking to transit at HNL for 14hrs. I can head down town during that time but I would like to know which hotels offer pool/shower facilities for visitor use?

I know that the HNL airport hotel is closed for security reason so I would like to know if there is any other alternatives to take fresh water dip.

Thanks!

I would hit a cab to one of the Waikiki Beach Hotels. The Hilton Hawaiian Village would be your best bet. You can swim and no one will notice. You have access to places to eat, shop and the beach. Why stay in the airport for 14 hours when Waikiki is only 10-20 minutes by cab or bus. You can relax in the lobby and drink all the Mai Tais you could want. Or you could go to The Polynesian Cultual Center and spend the day there. Or better yet go to the Turtle Bay Hilton and swim in their pool. I swam at the Four Seasons in Maui as a non guest and no one noticed. Just pack a small towel and a change of clothes in a duffel bag and bring toiletries to freshen up. You can take a free cold shower on the beach.Enjoy
